Last-minute announcement from the Flyers involving forward Ryan Poehling, and the Montreal Canadiens did well to let him go
Former Montreal Canadien Ryan Poehling was clear in his desire to seriously reboot his NHL career with the Philadelphia Flyers, after difficult stints with the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Montreal Canadiens.
Unfortunately, after a hopeful summer, things have quickly turned challenging for him.
After only playing 8 games (no points and a -1 differential), Poehling finds himself back in the stands.
"Morgan Frost is entering the lineup in place of Ryan Poehling, who is scratched." This was just announced by the Flyers.
Time is running out for the Montreal Canadiens' 2017 1st round pick.
