Last night, the Canadians faced the Seattle Kraken, at the Bell Centre. A game particularly special for Joel Edmundson, the potential next captain of the club:

Following the game, the Habs announced some roster and line-up changes. For those who didn't see that, Montreal recalled defender Corey Schueneman from the Laval Rocket.

In 27 games this season with the Rocket, the 26-year-old defenseman tallied 10 points, while he had two assists in eight games with the big club. He seemed to quickly fall into the good graces of Martin St-Louis.

Why such a recall from Laval? Here's why :

«Joel Edmundson will not play Sunday's game in Philadelphia. The decision was made in conjunction with the team's medical staff." - Montreal Canadiens

Edmundson will therefore not face the Flyers today (as a preventive measure). It was already part of his rehabilitation plan.

And finally, the Canadians announced that they have placed the name of defender Kale Clague on the injured list.

He injured his upper body.

Remember that at 7 p.m. tonight, the Canadians faces: the Philadelphia Flyers.
