Over the past few minutes, the Seattle Kraken organization confirmed a big rumor that has been circulating since last week.
Following his surprising elimination from the OHL playoffs against Filip Mesar and the Kitchener Rangers, Wright will surprisingly be able to return to playing professionally as early as this season.
Shane Wright was sent back to the American Hockey League.
Let's say he had a very eventful 2022-23 season:
It will be interesting to see his progression following his junior stint, especially since he is arriving at Coachella Valley at a crucial moment. (They are starting their playoffs) So it will be a second playoff run for him in just a few days.
