Last night, during the warm-up period before the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs, there was a concerning incident.
Here it is.
Forward Brendan Gallagher collided quite solidly with a teammate (Juraj Slafkovsky) and he wasn't wearing his helmet.
This could have had serious consequences and it's always alarming to witness, but fortunately, everyone involved in the play seems to have come out unscathed.
They played the game.
We can thus laugh about it and categorize this as one of the bloopers from the start of the 2023 season.
