The father of the phenomenon Matvei Michkov, a top-3 prospect eligible for the next NHL draft, has been found dead in horrible circumstances.
Michkov is the best prospect from his country since a certain Alex Ovechkin.
According to initial reports, Michkov's father had left his home to go to the convenience store after watching a hockey game with his son Matvei, and he never returned.
"Michkov Sr. simply told his son that he was going to run some errands and would be back in 20 minutes, but he never came back."
Worse still, young Michkov reportedly received a mysterious and unclear phone call in the meantime. He could not understand the caller since they were too far from the device.
Michkov Sr. had been missing since then and has finally been found lifeless.
An infinitely sad and mysterious story. A 17-year-old has just lost his father (and is in complete incomprehension).
More details to follow.
