Due to recent cuts made by the Canadiens and the Laval Rocket, there is a domino effect within the organization.
The Trois-Rivières Lions are therefore making room and they have just announced two transactions.
First, they traded the rights of forward Cole Gallant to the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for future considerations.
Next, the rights of Shane Kuzmeski were dealt to the Fort Wayne Komets.
Of the nine players recently cut from the Laval Rocket, six will join the Trois-Rivières Lions: Alex-Olivier Voyer, Nolan Yaremko, Eric Hjorth, Noah Laaouan, Andrew Nielsen, and Christopher Merisier-Ortiz.
Ty Smilanic and Stanislav Demin might sign a two-way contract with Laval.
These trades are therefore potentially interesting news, especially for the Canadiens' prospect Smilanic.
Stay tuned.
