WOW: Special scene today involving Cole Caufield and Martin St-Louis
We're starting to realize, but Martin St-Louis is truly an extraordinary head coach.
He was one of the best players in the world not so long ago, and clearly, he works very hard with each player to pass on as much as he has learned throughout his career (and as efficiently as possible).
He has worked wonders with Cole Caufield, but he clearly knows the job isn't done yet.
Especially today, Martin and Cole spent long minutes together, on a game day, for some personalized "coaching" in 1v1. It's rare to see this in the NHL, but we love it!
Today's lesson: working on effective ways to retrieve loose pucks along the boards (as reported by Anthony Martineau).
We love seeing this! It's always fascinating and beautiful to watch, especially since, we repeat, it's on a game day!
Promising stuff.
See the post.
Martin St-Louis and Cole Caufield spent a long time this morning working on effective ways to retrieve loose pucks along the boards.
