We just learned surprising news from Gary Bettman
In a press conference yesterday, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman announced some good news.
"Bettman: We believe we are approaching $6 billion in hockey-related revenue for this year, it's an estimate, we still have some beans to count. He looks at Bill Daly, they both smile at each other proudly." - Via NHL Watcher
One has to admit, these are impressive and surprising figures, especially considering the financial pitfall that the Arizona Coyotes represent. Despite this team dragging the league down, the total revenues are very high.
Anyway, we saw a very proud Gary Bettman yesterday, as the pictures show.
Details will follow.
Also, take a look at a good summary of what was importantly said yesterday, during the traditional pre-Stanley Cup Final press conference by Gary Bettman and Bill Daly.
