Wow: Arber Xhekaj officially has the 6th most powerful shot in the NHL: see the exact speed of his shot
Wow.
The National Hockey League has just publicly revealed brand new advanced statistics, including some for players of the Montreal Canadiens.
These are statistics drawn from its player and puck tracking technologies, notably thanks to chips inserted in the players' jerseys and in the puck.
Very interesting fact. It just allowed us to learn that two defenders from the CH are in the top-10 for the most powerful shots recorded.
Arber Xhekaj (99.76 miles per hour) is in sixth position, while Mike Matheson (97.67 miles per hour) is ranked tenth. Solid!
