Major Statement from Cole Caufield regarding Rafaël Harvey-Pinard: Is Martin St-Louis About to Make an Intriguing Decision?
Rafaël Harvey-Pinard put on quite a performance last Saturday night, once again.
His exploits have been the talk of the Canadiens' locker room. Speaking about him, Cole Caufield had nothing but praise for RHP.
"It seems like he manages to do something different every night. He always does the right things. We're lucky to have him." - Cole Caufield
Clearly, Caufield enjoys having him on his line, and Martin St-Louis might make a very interesting decision by placing him there much more regularly.
The man in question, RHP, was very touched by these words.
"It's nice to hear that from Cole. We don't necessarily give each other such compliments, but it warms my heart. I always give my 100%, and that's what I did against the Hawks." - Rafaël Harvey-Pinard
That wasn't all, Martin St-Louis also had a smile on his face when describing his winger's game.
"He's always crucial for our team," the head coach emphasized. "He does a lot on the ice. He's a player you can count on. He can fill many gaps and play various roles. You can use him on the left wing as well as on the right, both in power plays and penalty kills. If you need a guy to step up to a line, he can do that too." - Martin St-Louis
As we mentioned before this game, RHP ranked 21st in scoring among his draft class. Having been drafted by the Canadiens in the 201st spot of the 2019 draft, he already has more points than 16 players picked in the first round.
Not bad for a 7th-round pick!
We are certain that RHP won't rest on his laurels after these compliments from his teammate and coach. Knowing him, he will keep proving his critics wrong!
