In the last few minutes, it was announced that a defenseman has just left the Montreal Canadiens organization.
It's Brady Keeper, who is moving to Europe.
«Good luck in Slovakia, Brady!» - Laval Rocket
Specifically, he will be playing in Slovakia, like several former members of the organization.
Keeper, who was a prospect for the Montreal Canadiens, is a right-handed defenseman standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 197 pounds. He had an excellent training camp with the Habs last year.
Brady Keeper leaves the Montreal Canadiens organization
In 2023-24, he recorded 4 points in 22 games with the Laval Rocket, maintaining a positive differential of +1. (53 penalty minutes) He was a good supporting defenseman, physical, reliable, and a solid insurance policy for Jean-François Houle's squad.
Keeper also accumulated 108 penalty minutes and 18 points in 61 games during the 2020 season with the Springfield Thunderbirds, the Florida Panthers' AHL affiliate.
The defenseman, now a former member of the Montreal Canadiens organization, also briefly played with the Florida Panthers.
We wish him the best of luck in Slovakia with HK Poprad.
Details will follow.
