The Canadiens organization has just signed former Anaheim Ducks member
A new forward has just been added to the Montreal Canadiens organization, and he is a former member of the Anaheim Ducks organization.
He will start at the third level of the Canadiens organization, with the Lions de Trois-Rivières.
Indeed, the CH-affiliated club in the ECHL has announced the signing of 23-year-old forward Logan Nijhoff.
Forward Logan Nijhoff joins the Montreal Canadiens organization
The former Regina Pats (WHL) player will join Ron Choules' team for the 2024-2025 season.
«Logan Nijhoff will start his first season with the Lions! His excellent skating, 200-foot game, and experience will be valuable assets for the team! Welcome to the team, Logan!» - Lions de Trois-Rivières
Nijhoff is well-known and popular in Regina because he played for the Pats for six years. He notably amassed 49 points, including 25 goals, in 57 games there in 2022 (85 penalty minutes).
He played alongside a certain Connor Bedard!
Nijhoff also played 50 games with the San Diego Gulls and the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League (AHL).
We welcome Logan Nijhoff to the big Canadiens family!
The 6-foot, 189-pound left winger, who was the captain of Regina in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, will also bring a lot of leadership to the Lions locker room.
This will be really beneficial for the young players in the organization!
