ANNOUNCEMENT: Martin St-Louis settles the Arber Xhekaj case and a lineup change is made
In a press conference over the last few minutes, head coach Martin St-Louis has settled the Arber Xhekaj case.
Not so long ago, Xhekaj was frequently sent to the stands and was always at risk of being removed from the lineup. On game days, it was never certain if he would play that evening.
Not anymore.
The Sheriff seems to have regained 100% of Martin St-Louis's confidence and has finally become a regular in the CH lineup again.
It's all to his credit, as he has responded in the best possible way to the challenges that have come his way this season. Solid!
Is Arber Xhekaj in the lineup tonight or not? No need to ask anymore!
That said, there's always a rotation in defense.
Tonight, it's Jordan Harris who gets the short end of the stick and has to give up his spot:
"Johnathan Kovacevic will take Jordan Harris's place in the lineup, Tuesday against Columbus." - Montreal Canadiens See the official statement:
It should be noted that Cayden Primeau will be in goal, for his 1st game as the official #2 goalie of the Montreal Canadiens.
