BREAKING: Cayden Primeau's Fate Officially Revealed by Martin St. Louis
Over the last few seconds, the Canadiens have confirmed the information that has been circulating since this morning.
Cayden Primeau is indeed the one who will be in goal against the Tampa Bay Lightning, it's a done deal!
"Martin St-Louis confirms that Cayden Primeau will get the start in goal against the Lightning, Saturday." - Montreal Canadiens
Primeau will therefore have another big challenge ahead of him.
He has not been placed in obvious situations this season, but he has generally responded well, so it will be up to him to deliver a strong performance, on the road, against a major team.
24 years old, Cayden Primeau was a 7th round pick (199th overall) in 2017. So far this season, he has a record of 5-6-1 with a goals against average of 3.06 and a save percentage of .901 in 13 games.
The Lightning had indeed shown interest in his services at the beginning of the season.
Details to follow.
