Canadiens Call a Summit Meeting Following Embarrassing Loss to the Golden Knights
Things are not going well for the Montreal Canadiens right now, and the management is clearly very aware of it.
After another embarrassing loss, this time to the Vegas Golden Knights, right at the Bell Centre on a Saturday night no less, a summit meeting was indeed called by the Habs.
It's rare to see this kind of thing, but as reported by various sources, including the excellent Anthony Martineau (TVA Sports), in preparation for the matchup against Utah HC, a concrete step was taken.

Following their most recent full morning practice, Martin St-Louis called a team meeting to speak frankly with his players.
Several key members of the Habs were also present.
This was a meeting that lasted over 30 minutes, which is no small matter!

Let's remember that the Montreal Canadiens currently sit in the 32nd and last position in the NHL standings, tied at 16 points with Connor Bedard's Chicago Blackhawks.
Needless to say, we're far from the famous "mix" for the NHL playoffs, and slowly but surely, the holiday season is approaching.
At this stage, it will take a true miracle to realistically hope for meaningful hockey at the end of the season.
Martin St-Louis's squad, which has won only 2 of its last 10 games, will try to get back on track tonight, live from the Bell Centre, as André Tourigny and Utah HC come to town.
The game is scheduled for 7:00 PM, and we're eager to see how certain players, including Dach and Slafkovsky will respond after being demoted by St-Louis.
