We talked about it a little earlier today, but two changes have indeed been confirmed for the Montreal Canadiens under Martin St-Louis.

Cole Caufield gave us the scoop in a press conference and live:

But anyway, it has now been officially confirmed.

Two changes to Martin St-Louis' lineup

In summary, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard will replace Michael Pezzetta.

And Jakub Dobes will take Samuel Montembeault's place in net.

To summarize the changes in the Habs' lineup for tonight's game against the Wild:

Jayden Struble and Rafaël Harvey-Pinard IN

Jakub Dobes gets the start.

Priyanta Emrith

While Struble, Harvey-Pinard, and Dobes are IN, Kaiden Guhle (injured), Michael Pezzetta, and Samuel Montembeault are OUT.

Everything is set, so now we just have to wait for the game!

It's clear that losing Guhle will hurt the Canadiens tremendously, but their opponents tonight will also be missing Kirill Kaprizov, which is obviously an even bigger loss.

Kaprizov is one of the best players in the world.

The Minnesota Wild currently hold 7th place in the overall NHL standings, with 64 points in 51 games.

Tonight will be their second game in two nights (they won against the Toronto Maple Leafs yesterday).

The Montreal Canadiens are in 20th place in the overall NHL standings, with 53 points in 50 games, but more importantly, they sit 11th in the Eastern Conference, just two points away from a playoff spot.
