Canadiens Received Major News on Guhle Just Minutes Before the 3 PM Trade Deadline
For obvious reasons and due to the trade deadline, this went somewhat unnoticed, but the Canadiens received big news yesterday.
To everyone's surprise, just minutes before 3 PM, something important was happening on the ice live from Brossard.
Kaiden Guhle was back on the ice, in full gear!
This is huge because it was completely unexpected and because he is obviously a key pillar for the Montreal Canadiens.
According to various circulating reports, some sources suggested he might not even be ready for the start of next season, while others questioned his entire career.
So, seeing him back on the ice already, in full gear, is massive.

As mentioned earlier, this went somewhat unnoticed, but it was probably the best news of the day for the Canadiens.
In a press conference, Kent Hughes mentioned that Guhle's return to play (or not) would likely depend on the team's performance over the next few weeks.
He stated that even if he is ready toward the end of the season, they may not put him back to work if the Canadiens are out of the playoff race by then."
