More and more, it becomes clear that Caufield knew the Gaudreau family well and had a good relationship with them.

Kudos to him for making the trip to honor the memory of the former Columbus Blue Jackets forward.

Check out a video in which Caufield answers journalists' questions during the funerals of the Gaudreau brothers.

It is taking place today, live from Pennsylvania.

All our thoughts are with Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau's wives, their families, and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult day.

Please also note that Patrik Laine, now a forward with the Montreal Canadiens but who was Johnny Gaudreau's teammate with the Columbus Blue Jackets, also traveled to Pennsylvania to attend the funerals.

Many NHL players are present, further proving how well-loved Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were by everyone.
