The amazing Meredith Gaudreau, Johnny Gaudreau's wife, has just revealed a brand-new nickname for Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield.

As we reported in recent hours, Meredith Gaudreau recently reacted to Caufield's number change:

The Habs forward will now wear #13 in honor of Johnny Hockey, leaving behind his traditional #22. A classy gesture from Cole.

We missed it at first, but we just realized that in her short message reacting to Caufield's number change, Johnny Gaudreau's wife revealed a new nickname for Cole.

Apparently, Caufield is quite close with the Gaudreau family.

«Eloc» is Cole spelled backwards

Several other NHL players, including Kevin Hayes, also call him «eloc» in the comments section of her post.

Also, please note that Caufield will be present today for the funerals of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau, where he will be there to honor their memory and support the grieving family.

Once again, our thoughts are with Meredith Gaudreau, Madeline Gaudreau, their children, and the Gaudreau family on this emotional day.
