I sincerely find this sad for the young man.
He's there every day, working extremely hard on his game, and it feels like the Canadiens are completely ignoring him.
He's not even being considered anymore.
When the Canadiens have an injury or need to bring in reinforcements for the lineup, they look everywhere but at Michael Pezzetta.
The concrete proof of this was the recall of Lucas Condotta (who was called up and immediately surpassed Pezzetta for a spot in the lineup).
Watch the footage..
It's the same story every game day, or almost.
While his friends, while his teammates rest in preparation for their evening game, and as they experience their game day, you have Pezzetta stepping onto the ice (always alone or nearly alone), skating laps, and taking shots.
It must be starting to feel so heavy and difficult for him.
What would it hurt to let him play a game?
It really couldn't be worse for the Montreal Canadiens right now, anyway.
Pezzetta hasn't played at all this month. He's only played three games this season, and we're really starting to wonder if he's played his last game with the Montreal Canadiens.
In any case, he deserves better.
Maybe I'm just too sensitive, but I find it sad to see him skating laps and taking meaningless shots every game day while his friends prepare for their games.
This morning, it was glaringly obvious how sad it's starting to get for him.
