Geoff Molson Announces Major Renovation for the Bell Centre
In an interview with Renaud Lavoie, the top executive of the Canadiens, Geoff Molson, made an important announcement.
A few months ago, we learned that a section of the Bell Centre would undergo a rejuvenation to accommodate a new Premium section. Located at ice level (sections 121, 122, and 123), "le parterre" will be a new luxury option for fans who want to experience something entirely different.
In a recent conversation with Renaud Lavoie on TVA Sports, the owner of the CH, Geoff Molson, kindly confirmed the upcoming renovations to his building, including the creation of the "le parterre" section.
This Premium section will be ready by next fall, but only for season ticket holders in these sections. It will open to everyone in September 2025.
"It's a section in the Bell Centre where fans will go down to grab a beer or eat. It's going to be a high-end spot for fans who want that experience"
"We want to respect our season ticket holders who are in this section and give them time to see the experience in this section before changing the offer. It will start in September 2025 but will be open to see and experience from September 2024" - Geoff Molson
Another significant change that fans will definitely notice is the change of the scoreboard. While the size of this will be relatively the same, the quality of the screens and the image will be improved. We are already excited to see what this new giant screen will look like!
