Habs Coach Martin St-Louis Makes Lineup Change Ahead of Tonight's Game vs. the Ducks

In the last few minutes, Martin St-Louis and the Montreal Canadiens announced lineup changes.

Also, as reported earlier today by the Canadiens organization, the game will start a little later than usual as it will be broadcast on Prime Videos.

In anticipation of tonight's game against the Anaheim Ducks, please note that there will indeed be modifications.

Specifically, defensemen Jayden Struble is being removed from the lineup and will be replaced by Justin Barron.

Please also note that Samuel Montembeault will once again be in goal.

The Canadiens also released an official statement:

Head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed that Justin Barron will slot in for Jayden Struble tonight. Barron has one assist in one career game against Anaheim. St-Louis also announced Samuel Montembeault as the Canadiens starting goalie ahead of Monday's tilt.

The Canadiens blanked the Ducks 5-0 at the Bell Centre last February. Jake Evans, Brandon Gignac, Juraj Slafkovsky and Nick Suzuki (2) scored for Montreal that night.

Jayden Struble, 23, has 5 points in 21 games this season (29 penalty minutes and a -3 rating).

Justin Barron, also 23, has 1 point in 13 games this season (8 penalty minutes and a -6 rating).
