The Montreal Canadiens' goalie situation continues to be a hot topic in the city.

Especially after another poor performance by Cayden Primeau, this time against the Buffalo Sabres, a difficult outing that nearly cost the Habs the victory. All eyes are now on Kent Hughes.

What will the general manager do to steady the ship in front of the net?

With James Reimer's name recently being mentioned by various sources as a potential backup for Samuel Montembeault

Former Maple Leafs Goalie to Support Samuel Montembeault?

Kent Hughes Reportedly Addressing Cayden Primeau: What to Do with the Netminder?

Journalist David Calabretta from TFP recently mentioned that Cayden Primeau's performances have caught the attention of Canadiens' leadership (for all the wrong reasons, unfortunately).

«Cayden Primeau still seems to be adjusting to life as a backup in the NHL as he begins his second full season.

With a save percentage of .845 and a goals-against average of 4.32, it seems Primeau's performances are starting to be closely monitored within the organization.»

In other words, Kent Hughes appears to be turning his attention to Cayden Primeau's case, and if the goalie doesn't turn things around, changes might come sooner rather than later.

And you, what would you do if it were your decision? Would you look towards Jakub Dobes or Connor Hughes, or would you, in the short term, take a chance with the veteran James Reimer?
