Martin St-Louis makes a big statement about his future in Montreal
During his end-of-season press conference, head coach Martin St-Louis made a significant statement.
We hadn't had the time to talk about it yet, with all the assessments from yesterday, but we definitely wanted to come back to it.
Martin St-Louis leaving earlier than we would want: forget it! He wants to stay in Montreal for a very long time
For the first time since his hiring by the CH, after his team's game against the Detroit Red Wings at the Bell Centre, Martin has really committed to the fans for the long term.
What great and big news!
TRENDING NOW: Canadiens expected to pass on Cole Eiserman in upcoming draft
For the past two years, St-Louis has always been the type to take it "one year at a time," and that's perfect, but now he has really committed for a longer term.
"I love what I do, it's a passion, it's not a job. I'll be here until they don't want me anymore." - Martin St-Louis
This is the statement that made my week, personally!
With his family being far away, and all the issues that come with that reality, I was afraid Martin might eventually want to leave, but he has really reassured me and I am extremely happy about it.
We are very lucky!
