The Canadiens had no practice today, but head coach Martin St-Louis addressed reporters in a press conference in the last few minutes, and he announced some changes.

"Cayden Primeau will be in net in Calgary."

- Montreal Canadiens

"Jayden Struble will rejoin the lineup against the Flames tonight, in place of Johnathan Kovacevic." - Montreal Canadiens

And there you have it! Another proof that Arber Xhekaj is officially a regular and is not skipping his turn anymore.

So, to summarize, Cayden Primeau is replacing Samuel Montembeault while Jayden Struble is replacing Johnatan Kovacevic.

No surprise returns for either Kirby Dach or Christian Dvorak.

This will be Primeau's first start since his splendid performance at the Bell Centre against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Primeau, 24, a 7th round pick in 2017, has a record of 6-6-2 this season, with a goals-against average of 2.83 and a save percentage of .901. (two shutouts)

As for Samuel Montembeault, 27, he has a record of 13-12-6 this season, with a goals-against average of 3.11 and a save percentage of .905.
