Here is a very interesting last anecdote revealed by Jean Trudel, an anecdote that says a lot about the extraordinary person that is Cole Caufield.
"I have a scoop on Cole Caufield. I like to analyze the behavior and personality of players. In an interview at the beginning of the season, Cole said in an interview that he likes to be a superstar, and often we wonder if some players think everything is owed to them.
So, there's a Quebec company called Fake Artgang that launched a new cap, and then, Cole Caufield commented on the post saying he liked the product...
So the company's social media guy wrote a private message to Cole Caufield asking if he wanted some free products... and Cole replied:
"No need, I've already ordered it!"

This says a lot about Cole Caufield, who, in addition to supporting a Quebec company, insisted on paying for his products instead of trying to get a cap for free (like 90% of public figures do).
He didn't ask anyone for anything. He just ordered the cap himself.
It's a small anecdote that says a lot about the extraordinary athlete that Caufield is.
