Martin St-Louis reveals an acquisition by Kent Hughes that really excited him
In an interview just minutes ago with journalist Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis shared more insights.
If Habs fans were excited when they learned about the acquisition of Patrik Laine, know that St-Louis had the exact same reaction.

Directly questioned by Renaud Lavoie about his reaction when he learned about the trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets, the coach was unequivocal.
Martin St-Louis has already made an important decision regarding Patrik Laine:
And even in a press conference in front of all the journalists, he echoed the same sentiment.
It's truly great to see.
The head coach was in an excellent mood this morning, and like all the players and management who have been interviewed, he seems optimistic about the upcoming season.
Without a doubt, the atmosphere within the team is fantastic right now, and we've seen evidence of this over the past few weeks, with all the players arriving in Montreal well ahead of time and starting to train in Brossard far in advance (even though it was not required).
While remaining realistic and understanding, I think we have the right to be excited for this new season of the Montreal Canadiens.
