Martin St-Louis Reveals the Turning Point Behind the Canadiens' Stunning Season Turnaround
After nearly 15 truly impressive games, with a very tough schedule, we can say that the Montreal Canadiens are a new team.
Something clearly happened in that locker room, and last night, after another impressive performance, this time against the powerful Dallas Stars, head coach Martin St-Louis was asked about it.
What happened with the Canadiens?
We went from probably the worst team in the NHL to a team that genuinely seems to have a chance to qualify for the playoffs.
It's an incredible turnaround.
Martin St-Louis identifies a moment that changed everything
St-Louis indeed identifies a 6-3 loss to the Washington Capitals as the turning point of the season (around Halloween).
There was a big team meeting at that point, and everything changed.

We're really excited to see what comes next, but clearly, the Canadiens are heading in the right direction and are on track to offer us an extremely exciting end to the season.
