I must admit that I was worried about seeing him struggle at first, especially after the many injuries over the past few years and months, but clearly, my concerns were completely unfounded.

Let's remember that Laine's contract ends at the end of next season, and he will then be a free agent.
It would be a real shame to lose him, but at the same time, hearing statements like these, I'm not too worried about his future with the Montreal Canadiens, and I trust Kent Hughes will eventually offer him a contract extension.
