It's no secret, but the Anaheim Ducks' GM is closely listening to trade offers for him, and it wouldn't be surprising if Zegras is traded during the 2024 NHL draft.
In short, in the last few minutes, we have witnessed an interesting scene involving Zegras, and none other than Montreal Canadiens' forward Juraj Slafkovsky.
We didn't think to make "a big deal" out of it, but now about eight Montreal journalists are sharing the news, so there you have it.
We know that Zegras is a very good friend of Cole Caufield, and that they spend a lot of time together every summer, but it seems that the young Ducks star might also get along well with Slafkovsky.
They are going to spend a lot of time together over the next two weeks in Europe.
It's good to know that Trevor Zegras might "fit" well in the CH locker room and could get along well with the young players of the Canadiens.
Stay tuned!
Zegras, 23, has amassed 15 points in 31 games this season (8 points in 8 games to finish the year) and 65 points in 81 games last season.
Would you trade a Logan Mailloux or a David Reinbacher, to acquire Trevor Zegras? Unless Kent Hughes pulls off a little miracle, trading Barron and draft picks?
Slafkovsky, 20, has scored 20 goals and a total of 50 points this season, in 82 games. The forward drafted first overall in 2022 has shown serious potential and it's very promising for the future.
