Via General Manager Kent Hughes, the CH organization has released an official statement involving David Savard and Alex Newhook.

So, they are clearly troubled at the end of the season, which is obviously bad news, but we will closely monitor this for you.
David Savard is tough, in any case. Once again yesterday, he was sensational in his zone, he took several undoubtedly painful hits, and he blocked many big shots.
