We have breaking news from the Montreal Canadiens. It hasn't taken long, but the organization has indeed just announced that forward Owen Beck has been sent back to the Laval Rocket.

In two games during his stint with the Canadiens, Beck played 8 minutes 13 seconds and 6 minutes 57 seconds, maintaining a neutral plus-minus.

This will be high-quality reinforcement for Pascal Vincent's group.

This news clearly signifies one of three things:

1- Emil Heineman is surprisingly close to returning to action.

2- Another forward will be brought in for reinforcement. (waivers, trade, transaction)

3- The decision has simply been made to place more trust in Michael Pezzetta, and he will be the 12th forward for the upcoming trip to Detroit.

Owen Beck, 20 years old, 6 feet tall, and 199 pounds, was the 33rd overall pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2022 (2nd round).

He has accumulated 25 points in 37 games this season with the Laval Rocket (9 goals), with 22 penalty minutes and a positive plus-minus of +9.

Speaking of Beck and Pascal Vincent's squad, the excellent Anthony Marcotte (BPM Sports) has just informed us that the forward will be in the lineup tonight against the Hershey Bears.

The Rocket's communications team informs me that Owen Beck will take part in the team's game tonight against the Hershey Bears. He is skipping the morning practice to get a few hours of rest. This will be his 5th game in 7 nights.
