We sincerely hope for good news. Laine has worked extremely hard to regain his form, and he was so motivated to have a great season with the Montreal Canadiens.
He was often the first on the ice and the last to leave during practices.
We are at a loss for words. What terrible luck for Laine, and we are sincerely sending him positive vibes.
Let's remember that Patrik Laine, 26 years old, only played 18 games last season with the Columbus Blue Jackets (6 goals and 3 assists).
He was acquired by Kent Hughes on August 19, along with a second-round draft pick, in exchange for young defenseman Jordan Harris.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound forward had high expectations for his first season in Montreal.
