He is now part of the Montreal Canadiens family and will aim to climb the ranks.
Ducharme will bring a lot of dynamism to Ron Choules' squad.
See the official statement:
Justin Ducharme, 24 years old, is a 6-foot, 183-pound left winger.
He began his career in the QMJHL in 2016 with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and even won a championship with them in 2018.
During his junior career, Ducharme collected 23 points in 53 games, 44 points in 66 games, 36 points in 50 games, and 29 points in 28 games.
He completed his junior career with the Val-d'Or Foreurs in 2021 after playing with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens and the Titan.
Since then, he has notably scored 102 points in the ECHL and 7 points in 19 games with the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League.
We once again wish him a warm welcome to the organization as he becomes an immediate and exciting addition for Trois-Rivières.
The Lions are currently in third place in the North Division, two points behind the Norfolk Admirals (who are first), with a record of 16 wins, 4 losses, and 3 overtime losses.
Both teams affiliated with the Habs have had very strong starts to their seasons.
Further details will follow, but this is a player we might see at the next Montreal Canadiens training camp.
