Things indeed tend to get heated between the Canadiens and Senators, especially in the AHL and especially during preseason games, so this seems like a wise decision by Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton.
Let's remember that Lucas Condotta was just placed on waivers by the Habs, and he had just been passed over by the other teams in the NHL.
His time «down below» was therefore very short.
Lucas Condotta, 26 years old, is a forward standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 217 pounds. He has scored 1 goal in four career games with the Montreal Canadiens, and he tallied 19 points in 65 games with the Laval Rocket last season.
Luke Tuch, 22 years old, is a forward standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 203 pounds. He was a second-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2020 draft (47th overall), and he played two games for the Laval Rocket last season, along with scoring 30 points in 39 games with Boston University in the NCAA.
