Unfortunately, once again this year, the theme of injuries is stealing the show at the 2024 Montreal Canadiens training camp.

While David Reinbacher and Patrik Laine both seem poised to miss several months of play, if not the entire season, the Habs' management must already be in "solutions" mode.

We can therefore say that the picture is becoming clearer, but we are still awaiting official confirmations.

David Reinbacher's injury is worse than Patrik Laine's for the Habs, according to Jean Trudel

That said, considering both players (Patrik Laine and David Reinbacher) will be out for a long time, the excellent Jean Trudel, notably from Stanley25, has just claimed that the young defenseman's injury is worse.

«According to Jean Trudel, Reinbacher's injury is worse than Laine's due to the impact it will have on his development.»

Charles-Alexis Brisebois

«Spoke to 25Stanley's Jean Trudel today, and he said «the worst injury for the Canadiens last night was David Reinbacher», which is true if you don't think emotionally.

If he's got a knee injury, after the year he had in Kloten, it would be a huge blow to his development.»

We can all agree that both injuries are catastrophic, but do you also think David Reinbacher's is worse for the Montreal Canadiens?

The organization's imminent announcement will probably give us the answer.
