We have a new announcement from the Montreal Canadiens involving Trevor Letowski, Alex Burrows, and Martin St-Louis.

Because yes, as revealed by the coach from Ontario earlier this week, Martin remains very involved in decision-making and participates in discussions.

And today, a very interesting decision was made, one that we adore.

A nice surprise for Rafaël Harvey-Pinard

A promotion for him:

"Rafaël Harvey-Pinard will take Joshua Roy's place on the Newhook line tonight, and Tanner Pearson will take RHP's place on the White line. No other changes for the Canadiens tonight. Sam Montembeault in goal." - Via Arpon Basu

In short, Harvey-Pinard replaces Joshua Roy (injured) on the 2nd trio, Pearson replaces Harvey-Pinard on the 4th trio, and Montembeault is back in net.

This is a very nice promotion for Rafaël and we are very happy for him. There is clearly a bit of Martin St-Louis in this decision, but also Trevor Letowski and Alex Burrows:

"Raf, I love him. With him, the sky is the limit. I wouldn't be surprised if he explodes one year and really scores a lot" - Alex Burrows on Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and via TVA Sports

Here is the official statement:

"Pearson and Montembeault will face Vancouver on Thursday." - Montreal Canadiens

The info:

And for the full press briefings, including the coach's:

Enjoy the game! We are very eager to see if Rafaël Harvey-Pinard will be able to seize his chance. This will be his best opportunity of the season.
