We Have Our Verdict on Laine and Pezzetta as St-Louis Reveals Potential Lines vs Vegas
We have the Montreal Canadiens' line combinations as of today, in preparation for tomorrow night's matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights at the Bell Centre.
Thanks to the excellent work of Marc-Olivier Cook from DansLesCoulisses, we can confirm that the Canadiens' lines during this morning's practice were as follows:
« Slafkovsky - Suzuki - Dach
Newhook - Evans - Caufield
Gallagher - Dvorak - Anderson
Heineman - Condotta - Armia
Pezzetta + Laine extra »
This confirms that we will have to wait a little longer for Patrik Laine's return to the lineup, even though he seems to be getting closer and closer.
It also confirms that Michael Pezzetta will once again be sent to the stands, and it's becoming almost sad at this point, as he no longer seems to be in Martin St-Louis' or the organization's plans.
Do you like these lines?
Pezzetta, 26 years old, has only played three games this season. At this point, it seems to be only a matter of time before he is traded or placed on NHL waivers by Kent Hughes.
Lucas Condotta seems to have surpassed him in the team hierarchy, and with the imminent returns of Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and Patrik Laine, the situation becomes even more complicated for Pezzetta.
Do you think he's on his last legs with the Montreal Canadiens? One thing is certain, this will be a storyline to watch closely over the next few days within the organization.
