Forward Shane Pinto of the Ottawa Senators will be suspended long-term by the NHL for an off-ice incident.
Senators' Pinto to be suspended 41 games for violating NHL gambling rules
Pinto is suspended for an event related to sports betting, a first in the history of the NHL.
The Senators have withdrawn all their contract offers to Pinto, who was still a restricted free agent.
