Scary scene live from New York as D-man gets knocked out cold after his head hit the ice
In the last few minutes, during the game between the Ottawa Senators and the New York Islanders, we witnessed a very disturbing scene.
The hockey world is holding its breath as young defenseman Erik Brannstrom collided with Cal Clutterbuck near the boards.
Brannstrom fell heavily, headfirst onto the ice, and did not get up afterwards.
Let's hope the defenseman will recover without any lasting consequences.
