Former Leaf completely destroys Mitch Marner for not showing up
In the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Toronto Maple Leafs and their core four are under an extra microscope. Every moment of every game is analyzed and overanalyzed. In a recent interview, former Maple Leaf Jay Rosehill ripped into the core four and more specifically Mitch Marner.
It is no secret that the Toronto Maple Leafs have struggled to find offensive success against the Boston Bruins. This is particularly true for some of the Maple Leafs top stars like Mitch Marner. In a recent podcast appearance former Maple Leafs forward Jay Rosehill ripped the team for their lack of success.
Last night on TLN After Dark @Jay_D_Rosehill unloaded
He spoke specifically about the effort or lack thereof in game 4 from the team as a whole. He called the team uninspired and pathetic. He then turned his focus to Mitch Marner and his disappointing game.
.@Jay_D_Rosehill rips into Mitch Marner for being an entitled piece of shit.
He's 100% right.
He tears Mitch Marner apart for thinking he is too good to get back on defense and go into the corners to fight for pucks. He believes Mitch Marner is entitled and does not have what it takes to win in the playoffs.
Jay Rosehill's epic rant echoes the complaints that Maple Leafs fans have been shouting for years especially when it comes to Mitch Marner. It feels like this could finally be the end of the Mitch Marner era in Toronto with him finding a new home if the Maple Leafs lose.
With the Maple Leafs down 3-1 in the series, it will take a major rally from the entire group to comeback. If this miracle is not pulled off all hell could break loose in the offseason with a complete overhaul to the roster.
