A forward for the Vancouver Canucks has just announced that he has unfortunately been diagnosed with cancer, and it is Dakota Joshua.
Joshua has indeed publicly announced (via official statement) that he has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
As a result, Dakota Joshua will not be ready for the start of training camp, and he must put his career on hold to take care of his health.

This is undoubtedly incredibly difficult news for him and his family, and we wish him the best of luck in this significant battle he is about to face.
At 28 years old, Dakota Joshua is a forward standing 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 206 pounds.
Last season with the Canucks, he accumulated 32 points in 63 games, including a solid tally of 18 goals.
He was one of the unsung heroes for Vancouver in the most recent NHL playoffs, with 8 points in 13 games, including some crucial goals at key moments.
