Renaud Lavoie's announcement regarding the phenomenon Matvei Michkov
The rumor had been circulating for a while and it was exactly what was planned, but here's what TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie just confirmed in the last few minutes.

This is indeed excellent news and reassuring confirmation for the teams who would want to draft this generational talent, like the Montreal Canadiens.
Michkov is undoubtedly the big hidden card of the top-10 of the 2023 NHL Draft, him who would almost certainly be ranked second overall if he was born in another country.
We are really looking forward to finding out his next destination and seeing him don his new colors. The Blue-White-Red would surely suit him perfectly.
Michkov, 18 years old, has accumulated a record 20 points (9 goals) in 27 matches this season in the KHL.
