After the 2024 NHL Draft, live from Las Vegas, Kent Hughes added a name to his weekend shopping list.

After drafting no Quebec players, Montreal has now added one as an undrafted player.

Jules Boilard added by the Montreal Canadiens

This makes him the 11th player added to the Canadiens' prospect pool in the last few hours, and Boilard will be present at the organization's development camp.
His brother, Raoul Boilard, was just drafted by the New York Rangers (in the 4th round yesterday), but Jules Boilard was still free as a bird after the draft.
The forward from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar will attend the next development camp for his home province team, the Montreal Canadiens.
Jules Boilard, 19, is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound forward. He amassed 50 points, including 18 goals, in 67 games this season in the QMJHL.
He added 8 points in 17 playoff games.
His brother Raoul Boilard, 18, amassed 62 points in 68 regular-season games and also added 8 points in 17 playoff games.
«Raoul Boilard may have been drafted by the Rangers, but his older brother can boast of being invited by the Montreal Canadiens. Jules Boilard will indeed experience the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge this summer.» - Jérôme Gaudreau

«Jules Boilard from the Drakkar has been invited by the Canadiens to their development camp.» - Mikaël Lalancette

A name that could surprise.
