John Klingberg, a key defensemen for the Leafs will undergo season-ending surgery.
Leafs GM Brad Treliving recently announced that Klingberg will have hip surgery at the end of this month.
This significant development comes as a blow to the team's roster, highlighting the unpredictable nature of sports injuries and their impact on both players and team dynamics.
The Leafs are already thin on the blue line with a few injuries already:
-Mark Giordano (injured for an indefinite period)
- John Klingberg (out for the season),
-Timothy Liljegren
Perhaps Treliving and the Leafs will now feel pressured to make a trade to strengthen their defense:
