The Canadiens cause a surprise and announce a significant injury
Here is an unfortunate surprise.
This, however, explains the unexpected recall of Joshua Roy by the Montreal Canadiens last night.
"Forward Josh Anderson will not play tonight (lower-body injury) and will be evaluated on a daily basis.» Let's hope it's not too serious, but it's definitely a significant injury for Martin St-Louis' team, which loses a major player.
Anderson, 29 years old, is a 6-foot-3-inch, 224-pound forward who has accumulated 12 points in 41 games this season (7 goals). He earns $5.5 million per year until 2027.
Josh will replace Josh on the Canadiens
Therefore, it's the Quebecer Joshua Roy who will take his place in the lineup, having accumulated 30 points in 34 games this season in the AHL with the Laval Rocket. A very productive rookie season for him.
More details to follow.
