We have news for Team Canada ahead of the Four Nations Faceoff. As Jon Cooper's squad just hit the ice for practice live from Boston (yes, live from Boston), we're noticing some interesting faces.

First, the best defenseman in the world, Cale Makar, who missed yesterday's game due to illness, was on the ice, obviously a great sign.

Next, there were two goalies on the ice, but neither of them was Jordan Binnington.

Samuel Montembeault, who hasn't been seen much in uniform over the past week, is there, along with Adin Hill (of the Vegas Golden Knights).

We'll find out what this means in the coming minutes.

Binnington may have simply chosen to take a day off, but it's still a situation worth keeping an eye on.

Which goaltender would you send in net for Canada tomorrow against Finland if it were your decision?

At 28 years old, 6 feet 3 inches, and 218 pounds, Montembeault has a record of 18-21-3 this season, with a goals-against average of 3.00 and a save percentage of .897.

At 31 years old, 6 feet 2 inches, and 172 pounds, Binnington stopped 20 of the 22 shots he faced last night against the United States.

With the St. Louis Blues this season, he has a record of 15-19-4, a goals-against average of 2.89, and a save percentage of .897 as well.
