A tragic news has just been announced in the hockey world, as 22-year-old goaltender Henry Bradford has passed away under sad circumstances.

According to various media reports in the past few hours, Henry "Hank" Bradford, a 22-year-old goaltender who played for the University of Oregon (ACHA), passed away "unexpectedly."

The young man, born in 2001, played twenty games with Oregon over the past three seasons and also played for the Utica Jr. Comets in the USPHL Premier and NCDC.

Karin Erickson Bradford, Henry's mother, stated in a social media post that the cause of his death may be linked to a "cardiac incident" that occurred in Bradford's apartment.

In the message from his hockey team, Bradford was described as an "incredibly kind" and "caring" man.

"As good of a goaltender as he was, Hank was an even better human being," the message reads.
