Last night on TVA Sports' airwaves, during Jean-Charles Lajoie's show, Renaud Lavoie reported a new event that occurred immediately following the second game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

An incident and scene was not captured on television, but Renaud was on site.

"An incident, not captured by television cameras, causes a reaction in Toronto, following the Maple Leafs' overwhelming victory over the Lightning in the second game of this series," reported Lavoie.

See the journalist's explanations:

"We could also have witnessed an incident when Pat Maroon was ejected at the end of the game. There was a lot of shouting, and it could have spread over into the corridor. It's a small corridor of about 30 or 40 meters, but that's 30 or 40 too many when you're Pat Maroon and you have to go through the fans. It's been two games now that the fans have been trying to go after him. We were lucky not to witness a violent incident."

It's serious.

He also adds that serious adjustments should be made to the security level in the Leafs' arena.

He reports two scenes where security personnel had to intervene forcefully to eject Toronto fans. These are also scenes where Lightning players are directly targeted.

"It could have been very violent," he said.

Let's also remember that a fan tried to attack forward Tanner Jeannot while he was in the penalty box, an incident that went viral on the web.
