The Golden Knights just signed a goaltender in the midst of the Stanley Cup final
As the Vegas Golden Knights are currently preparing for the grand Stanley Cup final, which begins this Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights, it doesn't prevent them from being active at the administrative level.
In the last few seconds, they have announced the signing of young goaltender Carl Lindbom:
The Golden Knights have signed goaltender Carl Lindbom to a three-year contract.
Lindbom was a 7th round pick in 2021. He just finished his first season in the HockeyAllsvenskan in Sweden with Djurg�rdens IF, and was named Goalie of the Year and Rookie of the Year in the league.

Lindbom, 20, has posted incredible stats this season:
- 25 wins, 11 losses, .930 save percentage, 1.86 goals against average in regular season
- 4 wins, no losses, .943 save percentage, 1.33 goals against average in playoffs.
